Sponsored: Lofts and History -- The Homes at Madison Mews
Madison Mews
The 4th-floor lofts are not the only selling point at Madison Mews.
With their brick elevation and stone accents, the 26 townhomes off Chain Bridge Road (map) are built to fit in seamlessly with the historic homes throughout Old Town Fairfax. The mix of 22, 24, and 40-foot wide properties offer five distinctive floorplans with four bedrooms and 3.5 to 4.5 baths, oversized windows, kitchens with center islands, stainless steel appliances and main level hardwood floors. The four-level homes range in size from approximately 2,800 to 3,100 square feet.
As mentioned above, the lofts on the top level of the homes, at minimum, have a sitting room, a bedroom and a bathroom. Some of the spaces measure out as large as 700 square feet, larger than many one-bedroom condos in the region.
Living and dining areas
Located two blocks from the City of Fairfax's Main Street, Madison Mews is within walking distance of over 50 shops, restaurants, and other stores. Routes 50 and 29 are less than a mile away, I-66 is less than two miles away, and I-495 is about a 7-minute drive from Madison Mews. Even the Vienna/Fairfax-GMU Metro on the Orange Line is just a ten-minute drive.
Kitchen
All 26 townhomes at Madison Mews will be complete by next year, and the first phase is already 80 percent sold out. Construction has started on the second phase with deliveries projected for early Spring 2012. Price start in the mid-$600,000s.
