Northern Exchange

Northern Exchange is PN Hoffman’s latest condominium development along the 14th Street corridor. A historic building located at the corner of 14th and R Streets, NW (map) Northern Exchange provides those who are looking to live in real loft space an opportunity to do so.

Residences at Northern Exchange will feature many of the building’s original architectural details making these 36 units comprised of studios, one and two bedrooms feel truly unique. Exposed brick walls and some of the original flooring will be retained giving the units an urban feel. Ceiling heights range between 14 to 16 feet and many units will have raised loft sleeping areas. Residents will also enjoy amenities in the building such as a common area rooftop deck with a residents’ lounge and outdoor grilling area, a secure bike storage room, modern lobby, as well as retail on the first floor.

As for the condominium’s name, it was inspired by the building’s history, which was built in 1902 by the Chesapeake and Potomac (C&P) Telephone Company and served as the main switchboard for Northwest and Northeast, DC during the 20th century.

Sales at Northern Exchange will start in early 2012. Please visit the PN Hoffman website and register in the database to be notified when sales begin!
