Eleven55 Ripley
It appears that work is moving forward on Eleven55 Ripley in downtown Silver Spring (map).
Developer Home Properties announced on Wednesday that construction on the project consisting of 379 apartments, row houses and lofts will last “throughout 2012 and 2013, with the first residents scheduled for occupancy in the third quarter of 2013.”
When complete, the project will consist of a 21-story apartment tower with studios, one bedrooms, and two bedrooms, as well as a five-story building with loft-style apartments. The project, designed by the ubiquitous Shalom Baranes, will also offer a slew of high-end amenities — rooftop pool, movie theater, fitness center with yoga room — and it is hoping to attain LEED Silver certification.
