Five years ago, plans were put in motion for a large new residential development on the western edge of Logan Circle. Now, we are getting a sense of what the inside will look like when it opens later this year.
Capitol Rose, a 158-unit apartment building located adjacent to the Masonic Temple at 15th Street and S Street NW (map), is in the final stages of construction and a recently-launched website offers images of the interiors and various amenities.

The new apartment building creates a U shape open to the rear of the temple at 1733 16th Street NW (map). The new apartments range in size from studios to two-bedroom duplexes in a restored carriage house with a private front yard.
The building amenities include a rooftop lounge and pool, a large private courtyard, a resident lounge, a state-of-the-art fitness center, a pet spa, and even a coffee bar. More renderings below.
