15 Dupont Circle
Recently, we featured 15 Dupont Circle, an opulent, four-story, 16-bedroom residence on the circle itself that entered the market for $26 million, making it the most expensive home for sale in the city right now.
That price certainly keeps the property out of reach for the vast majority of Washingtonians, and Slate economics reporter Matt Yglesias wondered if there is anyone in the area who can afford to buy this property as their home.
Does anyone in DC actually have $26 million to spend on a mansion? http://t.co/OfbYg4BF91

In 2005, AOL’s Steve Case purchased a McLean mansion for $24.5 million, the most expensive single-family home purchase ever in the area. But within DC proper, the most expensive home purchases have not been made by buyers who plan on living at the house themselves. (Remember Evermay and Halcyon House?)
We thought UrbanTurf readers might have some ideas on the topic. In the poll below, let us know who you think will buy 15 Dupont Circle.
