In this week's installment of Above Asking, the owner of a home for sale in Chevy Chase, DC received an offer they couldn't refuse.

A DC Dutch Colonial Sells For $350,000 Above Ask

This Chevy Chase four-bedroom received just one offer, but that offer was one that was one that the seller couldn't refuse. Listed for just south of $1.3 million, the home sold last week for $1.65 million. The open living room of the listing includes a central brick fireplace, and the dining area leads into a parlor space through glass French doors, which features floor-to-ceiling built-in storage and a wooden-planed inlaid ceiling with a fan. Rooftop solar panels can help save on electrical bills, and the backyard includes fully fenced garden spaces to help protect the fruits and vegetables from the local rabbits.
