Now Selling, Brand New Two-Bedroom Condos in Adams Morgan From $449,000
In real estate, maximizing one's investment and space-saving features are more important than ever, particularly for first-time homebuyers looking to get a foothold in a competitive market. Adams Morgan’s new Moda 17, which started selling this winter and is 40 percent sold out, has artfully combined those two maxims with 38 efficiently designed and affordable micro condos in a central DC location.
The two-bedroom units at Moda 17 are designed in one of two styles: traditional, featuring two bedrooms; and flexible, featuring one permanent bedroom and one optional bedroom with an expandable wall. Both styles feature two full bathrooms.
The two-bedroom units are priced from $449,000 to $539,000. With 10 percent down, Moda 17 residents pay a monthly mortgage below what many centrally located renters pay. Moda 17 finishes are upscale and include modern European details that maximize space, like wood-style panelized refrigerators that are flush with cabinetry, built-in bedroom shelving and, in some cases, built-in beds.
Other finishes and features include in-unit washer/dryers, LED lighting, Nest Thermostats, wood flooring, porcelain bath tiles and floating vanities.
Moda 17 residents enjoy a number of private amenities, such as assigned rooftop spaces, individual storage units and assigned bike storage. Parking is available for two-bedroom units at an additional price.
Moda 17 is located at 2424 17th Street (map) between Euclid Street and Kalorama Street. The location is near the heart of Adams Morgan, but is tucked into a residential enclave. Nearby are a Harris Teeter grocery (located just across the street), restaurants like Smoke & Barrel, Sakuramen Ramen Bar, Pasta Mia and Cashion’s Eat Place; and bars including Madam’s Organ, The Black Squirrel and Bourbon.
Move-ins begin in just a few weeks. For a virtual tour of one of Moda 17's flexible two-bedroom units, click here. For more information on Moda 17, visit the property’s website here.
