Mortgage Rates Just Above Record Lows

On Thursday, long-term mortgage rates fell one basis point to 2.87% and are just above their record low on 2.86% set in September. 

“The year-long slide in mortgage rates seems to be ending as rates have flattened over the last month and the economic rebound has slowed,” Freddie Mac's Sam Khater said in a release. “But with near record low rates, buyer demand remains robust with strong first-time buyers coming into the market.
