Regional brokerage Long & Foster is in the process of launching a new division that aims to assist military families and government-sector clients who are buying and selling homes in the region, according to the Washington Business Journal.
The division called Corporate and Military Relations will consist of 30 agents that will operate in offices across Howard, Carroll and Montgomery counties.
The move is strategic on the part of one of the area’s largest brokerages. The Washington Business Journal reports that “thousands of new hires are expected down the road as a result of the Fort Meade and Aberdeen Proving Ground installations.”
