A new live music venue and pizza place are on the boards for a prime Logan Circle location.
Plans have been filed with DC's Board of Zoning Adjustment for an entertainment venue called Electric Jane and an outpost of Detroit Brick Pizza Co. at 1630 14th Street NW (map).
"The Electric Jane will host both ticketed and non-ticketed events for live music and entertainment," the zoning filing stated. "The types of music and entertainment to be provided will include live jazz, three-8 piece bands, DJ’s, and additional types of performances."
The Detroit Brick Pizza Co., which is a brand of the Wonder chain, will front 14th Street and have a "speakeasy-style" entrance for The Electric Jane. The new concept will occupy the deep retail space that was formerly home to Body Smith gym which closed in 2022.
