Located just north of the U Street Corridor is the hilltop DC neighborhood of Pleasant Plains. There—overlooking a tree-lined, one-way street—two luxury townhomes, collectively called Euclid Heights (map), have just hit the market. Each home boasts 3,000 square feet of interior space, ample private outdoor spaces and five bedrooms and four-and-a-half baths over four immaculately designed floors.
Casbro Development, a local firm specializing in custom homes, worked with award-winning Akseizer Design Group and KC Price architects to construct these new homes. In addition to investing in ultra high-end finishes, Casbro spared no expense in the construction of Euclid Heights, using top-of-the-line materials and building solid concrete, noise-blocking walls, that have made the homes extremely energy efficient.
The first floor of each home features sun-drenched living and dining rooms and a designer kitchen with oversized waterfall-edged Calcutta quartz island. The second level includes three guest bedrooms and the top floor features a master suite with a den and wet bar. The lower level is well-suited for an in-law suite and features 10-foot ceilings, ample natural light, a spacious bedroom and a separate entrance.
Each Euclid Heights townhome has an expansive rooftop terrace with views of the Capitol, Washington Monument and National Cathedral, as well as two additional balconies.
Among the aesthetic nuances that make Euclid Heights special are floor-to-ceiling custom Quaker double-paned windows, custom wall paneling and custom trim details and woodworking. Additional finishes and features include fully panelized Thermador appliances with tap to open/close features, Ultracraft cabinets, undercabinet and toekick lighting, free-standing Badeloft bathtubs, eight-foot solid wood doors and Chevron marble flooring.
Each home has two laundry rooms, three NEST thermostat zones and two entrances, including a patio-level entrance that gives access to secure parking (each home comes with one space). Both homes are also fully outfitted with custom technology, including cameras, Sonos® Speakers throughout and fiber optic cable.
Euclid Heights is within walking distance of the U Street Corridor, Shaw, Logan Circle, Dupont Circle and Columbia Heights. The property is also just a few blocks from Atlantic Plumbing, a soon-to-debut Whole Foods and the planned McMillan Reservoir Development.
The townhomes at Euclid Heights are priced starting at $1.945 million, and are available for tours by appointment. For more information, contact McWilliams|Ballard Sales Manager Timur Loynab by phone at 571-215-6554 or by email at tloynab@mcwb.com.
