Grand Opening in January: Oversized Condos on the Orange Line
Over the past two and a half years, MetroWest—a new Fairfax community from developer Pulte Homes—has sold nearly every one of its 330 townhomes and townhome condominiums. The secret of their success? In addition to uniquely designed floor plans, a space-to-price ratio that DC area house hunters dream about, and tons of green space, MetroWest is located directly next to the Vienna Metro station (map).
Now, the community is preparing to debut the first of five condominium buildings, each with 32 luxury homes, an elevator and underground parking. The buildings are collectively called The Flats and will celebrate a grand opening on January 18th. Move-in dates will start in Fall 2014 and interested buyers can now preview four of the seven available floor plans on the MetroWest website here. Buyers can also visit the Pulte sales office in person to view scale models of four of the floor plans.
The Flats will offer two-bedroom, two-bath condominiums with separate dining and living spaces, and will range in size from 1,256 to 1,685 square feet—a spacious counterpoint to the average two-bedroom condo in DC. Other features will include hardwood flooring, 9-foot ceilings, birch cabinets, granite countertops, and bedrooms at opposite ends of the homes. Pricing is anticipated to start in the $400s.
MetroWest is a mixed-use community, with five parks (Pulte Homes dedicated 30 percent of the property to open space) and both planned retail and commercial areas. A planned on-site recreation center is also underway, and shopping and dining spots—at the Pan Am Shopping Center—are within walking distance.
Those interested in learning more about The Flats should visit the Pulte Homes website here or call 888-817-2201.
