A Look at Douglas Development's Planned 13-Story Hotel at 6th and K Street

Douglas Development has another project on the boards for Mount Vernon Triangle.
The DC developer has proposed a 220-room hotel, 13-story hotel at 601 K Street NW, which could be part of the AC by Marriott brand, according to the Washington Business Journal.

Documents filed with Board of Zoning Adjustment on Thursday reveal the design for the hotel, courtesy of Fillat+ Architecture. The site is currently occupied by a two-story building and a parking lot.
This will not be the only project from Douglas in the area, if it comes to fruition. The firm is also redeveloping 655 New York Avenue NW, which will be the new headquarters for the Advisory Board.
