1846 Ingleside Terrace NW
On April 11th, a five-bedroom home on the 1800 block of Ingleside Terrace sold for $830,000, $50,000 above its list price of $779,000. We mention this property because it seems very similar to the bargain we found this week.
Not only is the asking price the same, but the five-bedroom property featured today is also located on the same block of Ingleside Terrace, the horseshoe-shaped street on the northern edge of Mount Pleasant, as the listing that sold in April.
The four-level home at 1846 Ingleside Terrace hit the market late last week, and over 60 people crowded into the open house on Sunday. The listing has 2,533 square feet of interior space, which includes a large living room with exposed brick walls, a master suite with a dressing room, and a lower level in-law suite with the home’s second washer/dryer.
There is a landscaped garden and a patio in the front of the property, a rear porch off the second floor, a parking space in back, and the potential for a roof deck to be built off the third floor. Given its similar size and condition to the listing down the block that sold in April, it will be interesting to see if this property also sells for above its asking price.
