Deal of the Week: Fit for a Family in Woodridge

This installment of Deal of the Week is a family-sized home in Woodridge, a currently sparse neighborhood with a very active community.
The four-bedroom was constructed in the Arts and Crafts style in 1921 and still has a lot of its original features, like wood trim and moldings, the original doors and a rustic looking fireplace. (The kitchen and bathrooms have been updated.) Some cool extra areas include an enclosed porch off of one of the bedrooms, an office area off another, and two nooks tucked away in both upstairs bedrooms.
While there isn’t too much going on Woodridge’s retail stretch, an active group of residents have been working to change that and retailers are starting to trickle in. On the plus side, the neighborhood feels quiet and peaceful, and the home is close to the Woodridge Library and Langdon Park.
The agent tells us that they are expecting multiple offers, which at $233 per square foot should not be a surprise. More details and photos below.
