5209 Chevy Chase Parkway
Three-bedroom homes in Chevy Chase DC usually hover just below the seven-figure price range, so when one hits the market that is well south of that, it garners some attention.
This installment of Deal of the Week, a three-bedroom on Chevy Chase Parkway, is discounted for a couple reasons. For one thing, it lies not far from the busy intersection of Connecticut Avenue and Nebraska Avenue NW. For another, it is a Federal row house in a land full of single-family homes, so it doesn’t have quite the space offered by other properties in the neighborhood.

Still, the home has a number of things that a family moving into the area say, for the schools, will appreciate: two living areas, three good-sized bedrooms, a rear deck, and a deep backyard that leads to a garage. And the price is very good. For comparison purposes, a three-bedroom, 2.5-bath home up the block sold a little over a year ago for $730,000 in just six days.
