Three Metropolitan Park
Construction is about to start at Three Metropolitan Park, an 18-story, 411-unit apartment project at 1201 South Fern Street (map), reported ARLnow this morning.
In addition to 411 apartments, the $160 to $170 million development, which is aiming to deliver in early 2014, will have 16,350 square feet of ground floor retail, 502 parking spaces and a green roof. Construction had been delayed for a few years for recession-related reasons.
The Pentagon City project from Kettler is part of a 10-building complex; Three Metropolitan Park is the third of Kettler’s developments for the site after The Gramercy and The Millennium. Vornado Realty Trust will be developing the remaining buildings.
