Units at the converted Alexander Memorial Baptist Church in Georgetown hit the market on Wednesday and will likely deliver this fall.
The rectory at 2715 N Street NW (map) is being turned into a 6,000 square foot home, with a list price of $7.95 million. The three three-bedroom condos in the church building at 2709 N Street NW will start at $2.5 million and likely top out at around $3 million, according to listing agent Michael Brennan Jr.
Together the units and the house are being marketed as Alexander Hall. The eventual owners will have access to the amenities at the Four Seasons two blocks away, including 24-hour valet parking and privileges at the hotel’s spa, pool and fitness center.
The project from SGA Companies was initially opposed by ANC 2E, primarily because the developer had planned to construct an additional townhouse on an open lot on the site. The townhouse was later scrapped due to the opposition. Zoning approved the project in September.
