Capitol Hill's New Boutique Condo Announces Opening Party
On Capitol Hill, sales have begun at The Jackson, a just-completed, seven-unit luxury boutique condominium. Three of the units are already under contract, leaving three flats and a unique, two-level carriage house on the market. All four remaining homes are move-in ready.
The property will hold a grand opening ‘New Year’s Cleanse or Cocktail’ party on the evening of January 13th (RSVP details below), featuring spirits from DC’s newest distillery, Cotton & Reed. The homes will also be open this Saturday and Sunday for buyers interested in a sneak peek. The Mandy & David Team at Compass are handling the sales and marketing of The Jackson.

The Jackson's private carriage house.
“The Jackson was built with a dedication to thoughtful, artistic craftsmanship and we’re thrilled to introduce it to the public. S2 Development’s projects really raise the level of the aesthetic, while remaining very approachable for buyers,” says Mandy Mills of The Mandy & David Team.
The project is a ground-up, new development from the same design and build team that was responsible for Shaw’s Huntress Coal Oil last fall. Anna and Dan Kahoe from GoodWood served as design consultants and two separate finish packages allow buyers to coordinate with their own style. Classic residences take design cues from the historic neighborhood in the form of Restoration Hardware light fixtures and pivot mirrors, shaker cabinetry, soft gray hardwood floors and ornate faucets. Modern residences feature clean lines, solid gray cabinetry, striking light fixtures and mocha-stained oak hardwood floors.
All of the units are outfitted with oversized windows offering east and west exposures; installed ELFA closets; chef’s kitchens with GE appliances and center islands topped with Carrera marble; recessed and overhead flush mount lighting; custom-designed bathrooms; soundproofing between floors; and private outdoor space. The penthouses feature skylights and the carriage house includes its own patio. Off-street parking is available for sale.
Located on Capitol Hill, near the intersection of 14th and G Streets NE (map), The Jackson is just steps from the H Street Corridor. Nearby amenities include the Atlas Theater, Rock & Roll Hotel, Crossfit DC, Safeway and host of restaurants and shops, including Smith Commons, H Street Country Club, Toki Underground and Bullfrog Bagels.
The January 13th Opening Party will take place at The Jackson (630 14th Street NE) from 5pm to 8pm. To RSVP, click here and fill out the contact form.
