In this week’s edition of Best Open Houses, we feature a two-bedroom loft in a former schoolhouse in Capitol Hill and a three-bedroom near Tenleytown with a great sun porch and back patio.
Two-Bedroom Loft in Former Schoolhouse in Capitol Hill

410 5th Street NE, #12 (map)
This two-bedroom loft is located in the Bryan School Lofts, one of a number of schools in DC that has been transformed into high-end condos and lofts. The unit has a living and dining area separated by a two-sided fireplace as well as very high ceilings throughout. The home also has an in-unit washer/dryer and a parking space. The open house is Sunday, April 18th from 1 to 4pm. For the full listing, click here.
Three-Bedroom Home in Tenleytown With Beautiful Sun Porch

3619 Fessenden Street NW (map)
We don’t often feature homes in this section of DC (that some would consider on the outskirts of Tenleytown), but this three-bedroom caught our eye because of its price and its sun porch and large back patio. The property also has a good-sized master bedroom and a large media room, but the kitchen may need some updating at some point down the road. Regardless, for a three-bedroom, this home is priced pretty well for the area. The open house is Sunday, April 18th from 1 to 4pm. For the full listing, click here.
