In this week’s edition of Best New Listings, we look at a two-bedroom listing in the Lofts at Adams Morgan and the Chevy Chase version of a bachelor pad.
Two-Bedroom Unit in the Lofts at Adams Morgan

This two-bedroom unit is located in the Lofts at Adams Morgan, a 59-unit loft project (developed by PN Hoffman in 2000), which is located off 18th Street in Adams Morgan. The 1,293 square-foot condo has a number of features that were popular when loft-like units were being built around the city ten years ago, including high ceilings, exposed duct work and a wall of windows on one side of the living room that leads out to a large balcony. Garage parking is available for rent.

The Chevy Chase Version of a Bachelor Pad

When UrbanTurf first saw this listing, we imagined that it would be the type of home that Hugh Hefner might’ve purchased if he had decided to move to the area 50 years ago (instead of Hollywood). The four-bedroom home has a back deck that spans the rear of the house, a gazebo, and a lower-level rec room, all of which are focused on the property’s large pool. (There is also an outdoor kitchen for the pool, but no grotto.) The master bathroom is not separate from the master suite, which combined with a door that leads out to the back deck, adds to the home’s Hefner-esque qualities.
