Jeff Black’s newest endeavors, Pearl Dive Oyster Palace and Blackjack, are still under construction at 1612 14th Street NW, but UrbanTurf has received renderings of what the inside will look like, courtesy of DC-based firm CORE Architecture + Design.
Above is a rendering of Blackjack, the bourbon bar (complete with bocce court) that will be located on the second level of the establishment. Below is a rendering of Pearl Dive Oyster Palace, the oyster bar and restaurant that will sit on the ground floor.

Both Pearl Oyster Dive Palace and Blackjack are set to open by August, and as UrbanTurf’s Rebecca Cooper reported in Neighborhood Eats a few weeks back, a recent peek inside showed that the walls are framed and crews are hard at work. (You can also see time-lapse videos of the restaurant’s progress on their YouTube site.) We look forward to giving you real interior photos in the coming weeks.
