$86,000 Above Asking For The Dairy Farm Bungalow

This blue bungalow in Takoma Park was part of a working dairy farm when it was first built in 1918, and it garnered a lot of interest when it hit the market back in January. It found a buyer in 4 days and sold recently for $86,000 above its list price. The home has a screened front patio that leads into a living room with a multitude of windows and a white brick fireplace. A bedroom on the main level makes for an ideal office space, and the other two bedrooms upstairs offer ample closet space and share a bathroom with white and black tiling. Basement renovations include a radiant-heated ceramic tile floor in the living space, a bathroom and a laundry room. The backyard is fully fenced and includes a storage shed.

The private entryway includes stained glass features, a chandelier and subtle striped wallpaper. Sliding doors lead into a formal dining room, complete with a built-in china cabinet and a fireplace. The formal sitting room includes tall windows and another grand fireplace, and the kitchen features a historic red brick hearth. All three bedrooms include an en-suite bath, however, the primary suite includes an additional cutout that makes for the ideal lounge area.
