This installment of Above Asking revisits three recently-featured listings, two of which sold for six-figure premiums.
$22,600 Above Asking in Bellevue
Located a couple of blocks from Fort Greble Park in Bellevue, this semi-detached house has triple exposure throughout the main level. A breakfast bar island delineates the dining room from the kitchen, and both of the bedrooms off the upstairs landing have double exposure. The lower level has a rec room and another bedroom and full bath, and the rear lawn runs beside a deck and a paver patio, beyond which is space to park two cars. The listing sold at $22,600 premium compared to its asking price.

A $100,000 Premium for a Cabinesque Farmhouse
This cabin-like farmhouse, sited on nearly two acres in Great Falls, sold last week for $100,000 above asking. A low-slung porch wraps around three sides of the house, and several walls throughout the interior have weathered chinked wood planks. Many of the rooms also boast reclaimed wood, one notable exception being a sunlit bonus room with cobblestone floors and backyard access. The open living/dining room has a brick fireplace and exposed parallel ceiling beams, and the property also has a rec room with a wet bar, bedroom, and full bath, and a pool deck and detached pool house.

Past the entry vestibule, the house has a painted brick panel fireplace in the living room and a dogleg window in the dining area. The galley kitchen has a white subway tile backsplash, a floating hood above the stove, a farmhouse basin sink, and a glass door out to the rear patio. Upstairs, the bedrooms share a bath and have features like nooks and cabinets above the closets.
