A Grand Opening, New Models and Move-Ins: Kite House at The Parks Plans an Eventful August

Kite House—the newest condominium at The Parks at Walter Reed campus—has a lot to celebrate this month. With sales already underway, the property will soon ring in its debut with a grand opening event and three brand new model homes. Move-ins will also begin in August. Stay tuned to the Kite House website for the grand opening event details.

In the meantime, Kite House will take part in The Parks Happy Hour on August 4th between 5:30pm and 7:30pm. Hosted on The Parks Marketplace Plaza, attendees can visit the Kite House table and tour the current model residence. The property also hosts an open house every Saturday from 1pm to 4pm. No registration or RSVP is necessary.

Kite House features a total of 109 contemporary one-, two- and three-bedroom residences and is the perfect opportunity to live in this lush and lively new DC community. Though most of the configurations are still available—with pricing for one bedrooms starting from the mid $300s and two bedrooms with dens starting from the upper $900s—prospective buyers should note that the property’s spacious three-bedroom residences are moving quickly.

Just a handful of three-bedroom corner residences remain on the market. Each of those homes have a south facing side, and those on the upper levels boast amazing views of The Parks grounds and beyond. All measure at around 1,400 square feet and feature two and a half baths, separate dining areas, large balconies and oversized walk-in closets. Pricing for these residences range from $1,0649,900 to $1,185,000.

All of the homes at Kite House boast high-end Pella windows, Kohler fixtures and Bosch stainless-steel Energy Star appliances, and most will also have either private terraces or balconies. Some also have work nooks incorporated into their floor plans.

Kite House is elevated by a host of top-notch amenities, including concierge services, a co-working space, a modern fitness center, and an indoor-outdoor lounge with a trellis, fire pit and grills overlooking the Marketplace Plaza. Parking is available for purchase, as is bike storage, and small and large storage units.
