A Georgetown penthouse sold recently for more than $2,000 a square foot, making it the most expensive condo to sell in DC this year.
The 3,500 square-foot, three-bedroom penthouse at The Elliott, a new 5-unit condo development in Georgetown, sold in late June for $7.35 million. The condo, listed with Jaime Peva and Anne Weir of Washington Fine Properties, eclipsed a unit sold at The Ritz-Carlton Residences earlier this year as the priciest condo sold in the city this year.

The Elliott has one residence per floor with private elevator access that opens to the main level of each unit. The penthouse features 10-foot ceilings, oversized windows, and commercial noise filtering. The bathrooms, designed by Snaidero, feature steam showers, custom vanities and heated flooring. The penthouse also has secure parking for three cars and a private storage room on the garage level.
