A Departure In Honor of The Snow

This week’s departure of all things DC real estate-related is in honor of the wet snow mixture DC received this week, and all those skiers and snowboarders out there that saw the flakes and immediately wished that they were on the slopes.
We found this Deer Valley, Utah townhome that struck us as a good way to head into the weekend and a good reason to sock away some money for a vacation.

The 3,500 square-foot, five-level townhome has a number of bedroom suites (making it a good place for a large group of friends), two family rooms and a formal dining area. And, of course, it has all the appropriate apres-ski amenities such as a four-person sauna, steam room, eight TVs, and a hot tub out one of its many decks.
While it is a 20-minute shuttle ride to the Deer Valley slopes, the place rents for about $900 a night, so just get 9-10 of your friends to go with you and subsidize your vacation substantially.
