The redevelopment of the Walter Reed campus continues to gain steam.
Last month, we got our first glimpse of one of the condominium buildings planned for the campus. Now, the plans for one of the more central buildings of the development are coming into focus.
The development team behind The Parks at Walter Reed has filed a design concept application with the Historic Preservation Office for Building P, which will face the expanse of public open space at the center of the development (map). Standing at six stories, Building P is expected to deliver approximately 60 traditional and co-living residential units above three retail spaces, totaling roughly 24,000 square feet.

Triden Development Group, comprised of Hines, Urban Atlantic, Triden and architect Torti Gallas Urban are the development team.
