Plans continue to move forward for one of the largest new residential projects planned in Northern Virginia.
Crescent Communities and the Rockefeller Group have submitted a site plan application to Arlington County for review of Novel Arlington Ridge, a 532-unit residential development at the former Hotel Pentagon site along Glebe Road in the Green Valley section of Arlington (map).

The project, designed by hord | coplan | macht, would consist of an eight-story multifamily building and four, four-story residential buildings with 37 vertical apartments. Nearly 600 parking spaces will be provided across the new development.
Over the last year, the development team met with Arlington County and the community and incorporated the feedback they received to create a new design for the development. The site currently consists of the Hotel Pentagon, formerly a Best Western, as well as a Comfort Inn. These buildings would be demolished to make way for the new project.
UrbanTurf will provide updates on this development as it moves through the review process.
