In early 2018, Under Armour co-founder Kevin Plank privately listed his 12,000 square-foot Georgetown mansion for $29.5 million. Now, that home is a little more affordable. Last week, the listing price for the home was reduced by $5 million to $24.5 million.
Renovated in 2015, the seven-bedroom home built in 1810 has a range of interesting features, from the $1 million staircase constructed of the same marble used for the Jefferson Memorial to a whiskey cellar that features Sagamore Spirit rye from the Baltimore distillery that Plank started in 2017.
The home is currently listed with Nancy Taylor Bubes, Cailin Monahan and Jamie Peva of Washington Fine Properties.
