Add another high-priced home to the list of expensive residences making headlines in McLean.
A 24,000 square-foot house at 1171 Chain Bridge Road (map) is set to eventually hit the market for $18 million. The home, currently under construction, will be listed with Fouad Talout and Jack Spahr of Long & Foster Real Estate.
Designed by Custom Design Concepts Architecture + Interiors, the property will feature a copper dome, as well as a large rotunda area with 30-foot ceilings. Plans call for seven bedrooms, nine full baths, as well as a garage for upwards of ten cars, and a separate guest house. Customizable options also include a pool, spa, safe room and outdoor pavilion, according to the listing.
Listings in this price range are becoming more and more common in the DC region, particularly in McLean. There are currently 13 homes for sale in this section of Virginia for north of $10 million; in the last year, seven homes have sold for above that dollar figure.
