The stay-at-home orders issued across the country due to coronavirus have resulted in a skyrocketing increase for 3-D home tours.
Zillow reported this week that the number of 3-D home tours created on the real estate website in March was 188% higher than in February; in the last week of March, tours jumped to five times the rate of an average week in February.

The largest increase in 3-D tours came in the multifamily rental sector.
"Tours for that listing type increased an incredible 3,714% from the month prior during the last week of March, and 2,327% over the full month," according to Zillow.
The move towards virtual interfacing has started in earnest in the DC area with a number of brokerages adjusting to the new world of showing properties.
