1628 11th Street NW
The Fortis Companies presented plans on Wednesday night to the ANC 2F development committee to convert the headquarters of the National Alliance of Postal and Federal Workers in Logan Circle into a 33-unit residential project.
The plans call for the office building at 1628 11th Street NW (map) to be converted into residential units, and an additional two floors to be built on the current structure. The units, which will either be condos or rentals, will range in size from 600 to 1,700 square feet. There are two levels of below grade space, the lowest of which will be resident parking with 21 spaces.
The plan is for the National Alliance of Postal and Federal Workers to remain in place until the project moves forward next year. The development committee unanimously approved the development.
