$10,000 Premium for a One-Bedroom with Backyard
Over in Alexandria's Park Fairfax, this one-bedroom condo stands apart from many others in the area due to its townhouse-like exterior appearance and backyard. And a buyer noticed that, buying it at a $10,000 premium. The layout of the living area has space for an office nook and gets sun from a pair of oversized windows, and french doors in the dining area lead out back. At the top of the stairs, the bedroom has double exposure and a double closet, and the bathroom has heated floors, half-beadboard walls, a clawfoot tub, and a shower stall with recessed shelves and a decorative window. The unit also comes with a washer/dryer and a separate storage unit.
