What $2,700 Rents You in the DC Area
This week in What X Rents You, UrbanTurf looked in the $2,700 a month range and found a variety of choices for prospective renters in the DC area with this monthly budget.

Two-Bedroom Row House Near DC’s Hip Strip
This two-bedroom row house is close to the bars and restaurants on 11th Street NW (aka DC’s Hip Strip) and a few blocks east of the Columbia Heights Metro. Recently renovated, the house has hardwood floors, a new kitchen, and UrbanTurf also liked the jacuzzi tubs, home security system and backyard grill that conveys with the rental. The basement has a washer/dryer and storage space, and the house is available on April 1st.

The unit is on the 5th floor and looks like it has peaceful views and a simple but comfortably renovated interior. The master bedroom is significantly larger than the second bedroom, which could be a good office or nursery. An added bonus? The rental rate includes utilities.

Both bedrooms and full bathrooms are on the top floor, with the living areas and a half bath on the main level. It has lots of cozy features, like a fireplace, built-ins and french doors that open onto a brick patio. The house also comes with one underground parking space and a big attic.
