A recent study revealed that the most in-bound apartment searches in Baltimore and Denver originated from the DC area. In light of this, UrbanTurf rounded up some options in each city to see what renters can get for $1,700-1,800 per month.

A One-and-Den in DC's Rosedale Neighborhood

This one bedroom-plus-den is in a newer, streetcar-accessible condo building in Rosedale and sports finishes ranging from hardwood floors to recessed lighting. Past the foyer area, the L-shaped corner kitchen has a gas range and a subway-tiled backsplash. It also looks out to the living room, which has a pair of glass doors opening onto a balcony. The rooms are through a doorway to the left: the spacious den has a double closet, and the bedroom has oversized windows. The unit also has a stacked washer/dryer and comes with the option of renting an off-street parking space.

A Two-Bedroom Townhouse in Baltimore

This two-bedroom, two-story townhouse is in Baltimore's Federal Hill neighborhood, midway between M&T Bank Stadium and the Inner Harbor. The living room has a brick panel fireplace nook next to corner floating shelves. Past the stairs, a dining area has a pass-through window into the kitchen, which has an exposed brick accent wall, tin press ceiling, and a hood and tiled backsplash above the stove. The downstairs bedroom has a fireplace nook and a border inlaid on the hardwood flooring, while the upstairs bedroom has an exposed brick accent wall. The shared bathroom has a tiled shower behind frameless glass and a standalone tub beneath the stairs. The unit also has a rear patio and a washer/dryer.

The U-shaped kitchen has white-painted brick walls, under-cabinet lighting, quartz countertops, a double-basin sink, and a breakfast bar island. The adjacent living room has an exposed brick wall and a bowed window, and the bathroom has a tiled shower stall with built-in bench behind frameless glass.
