In a new feature this week, UrbanTurf looks back at properties it has featured over the past couple weeks to see which were snatched up by DC’s alert buyers.
What $399K (or $409K) Buys You

The one-bedroom in Dupont Circle that we featured last week for What $399K Buys You is now listed as contingent with no kick out. It looks like it took all of about 48 hours for it to attract the attention of a buyer. The interesting thing about this unit is that it was originally listed on February 2nd for $399,000, then re-priced three days later for $409,500.

A Two-Bedroom Lauriol Plaza Special in Dupont Circle

Two weeks ago in our Best Open Houses feature, we featured a two-bedroom that we dubbed the Lauriol Plaza Special because of its proximity to the popular Tex Mex restaurant on 18th Street. The unit, priced at $474,000, is now listed as contingent with no kick out. We felt that the only downside to this unit was the lack of a parking space, but given its location, the buyer doesn’t need to have a car to get around.

$200,000 Studio in Dupont Circle

A Dupont Circle studio unit that we featured in our Best New Listings feature about two weeks ago is now under contract. As we noted, the unit was certainly not for everyone, given its size, but if you wanted to live in Dupont Circle on the cheap it seemed like a good deal.
