This semi-detached home near Lincoln Park features smart capabilities throughout, allowing its new owner to control most of the house remotely — even keyless entry. Once inside the house, the living room features a stacked custom limestone fireplace in the living room with built-in television. The adjacent dining room features a pass-through to the kitchen with floating cabinets above a wet bar with a sink and wine refrigerator. The kitchen, with its marble waterfall island and Thermador appliances, including a built-in cappuccino machine, opens onto a rear family room with double exposure to light and exits to the rear and side yards. The home found a buyer in about three weeks.

This renovated Sears craftsman was on the market for just about four days, and UrbanTurf heard that it incited a bidding war. From the private front porch entry and built-in shelving to the abundance of arched entryways and arch-top windows, the house has a lot of character one wouldn’t equate to a “kit”. A bay in the kitchen has a door leading to the back yard, where a stone-paved patio with steps leading to the yard area and a storage shed. On the second floor landing, a spiral staircase leads to the loft-like finished attic.
