Express POOL is intended to make the current Uber POOL system more efficient by asking riders to walk to a designated pick-up spot and be ready and waiting earlier than with Uber POOL. This will make it easier for drivers to accommodate multiple riders on a route by making the route more direct and linear. The regular POOL system is still an option for now.
The program will be implemented in other cities across the country over the next few weeks and months.
