This Week's Find: A Converted Dairy Barn in Vienna

Once a dairy barn situated along Browns Mill Road in Vienna, Virginia, This Week’s Find still retains much of its original character, particularly from the exterior.
The former barn, which will be listed for sale on Thursday, was converted from its original use into a home in the late ’70s and is hitting the market for the first time. The barn’s first occupants were Holsteins, a breed of cattle known for their dairy production.

The interior of the house could use some updating, but the home looks well-preserved both on the inside and out. There is an open-concept kitchen along with more formal entertaining spaces, including a dining room. The house has a large stone fireplace and many of the rooms are criss-crossed by the barn’s wooden beams.

Out back, there are nearly three acres of land, with a pool, trellised patio area and a two-car garage. Below are more photos and details of the property.
