This Saturday: Brabo Chef to Cook at Potomac Yard’s Newest Model

Townhomes at Potomac Yard
To build a ground-up community with authentic, architectural diversity and cohesiveness is a major challenge. To do so on a large scale is virtually unprecedented. But that is exactly what developer Pulte Homes has accomplished at Potomac Yard.
The mixed-use Alexandria community began sales in 2011 and has received numerous industry accolades and praise from new residents impressed with the unique interior and exterior qualities of the homes.
On Saturday, February 8th, the development will celebrate the debut of its newest townhome model with a cooking demonstration by Harper McClure. McClure is the Chef de Cuisine for Alexandria’s Brabo Restaurant and has appeared on Iron Chef. The event will be open on a first-come, first-serve basis to the public between 2pm and 5pm. No RSVP necessary.
The grand opening of the Executive Townhome model will highlight the expansive and entertainment-centric layouts of Potomac Yard’s homes. The latest model is four stories and measures over 3,600 square feet, with a four-level extension on the back of the house. The home features a large kitchen with a separate breakfast nook; a formal great room and dining room; two huge recreation rooms; an oversized owner’s suite and two additional bedrooms (including a private guest suite on the 4th level); and a deck and a patio.

A great room at Potomac Yard.
Pulte Homes continues to expand the variety of homes available at Potomac Yard as the community grows. There are three home types available in the community: Townhome condominiums, Executive townhomes and Estate townhomes—all available in a range of architectural styles, from Victorian to modern. The townhomes and townhome condominiums are available for move-in through fall 2014, with some homes ready now.
The two-level condominiums feature open layouts, three bedrooms and two-and-a-half baths. They range in size from 1,569 to 2,700 square feet and are priced starting in the low $600s. The Executive townhomes range from 2,300 to 3,600 square feet and are priced starting in the low $800s. The Estate townhomes feature private courtyards, master suites that span entire floors, and detached two-car garages with guest suites above. They range from approximately 3,300 to 4,200 square feet and start in the low $900s.
All Potomac Yard homes share a few uniform luxuries: granite countertops, birch cabinetry and vanities, and either brick or HardiPlank® siding exteriors. Each includes its own unique set of possible upgrades.
Potomac Yard will offer remarkable amenities, including an enormous retail and commercial development within the neighborhood itself, as well as a a 24-acre park—which opened in December as the largest public park in Alexandria.
Potomac Yard is located along Jefferson Davis Highway between Old Town Alexandria and Crystal City (map), within walking distance of the Braddock Road Metro, less than 10 minutes to Reagan National Airport, and just three miles from DC.
