The Small Town of Swett Could Be Yours For Under $400,000

The scene in Swett, via Google Maps.
A small town in South Dakota could be yours for less than the price of a DC condo.
Swett, South Dakota (map), which boasts one bar, is being listed by the Rapid City, South Dakota branch of Coldwell Banker. The Rapid City Journal reports that the town used to have a population of about 40 people. Its current owner, Lance Benson, lives there with his wife and their dog, Daisy.
The town’s buyer lays claim on 6.16 acres, the Swett Tavern with its horsehoe-shaped bar, a large garage used as a tire shop, a house and the trailers, as well as the personal effects on the property.
Coldwell Banker says the town comes with a liquor license, and is a popular pheasant-hunting spot.
