The view into Nationals Park from 1221 Van.
Last year, UrbanTurf covered a variety of residential buildings on the boards around Nationals Park that will offer views into the stadium itself.
Today, we got a first-hand look at one of those vantage points.

1221 Van, a new 291-unit development at 1221 Van Street SE (map) that will start leasing this summer, offers an expansive roof deck with left field views into the stadium next door. In addition to stadium-style seating for residents on the roof deck, any tenant with a south-facing apartment above the sixth floor will also have views into the ballpark from their apartment.
Along with the views, the roof deck will have an infinity pool, cabanas, grills, and even a bocce court among other amenities.
The Hariri Pontarini-designed building from the JBG Companies will be joined by several other new developments, including the F1RST residences and Half Street, which will offer game day vantage points when the projects deliver.
