The final residence at one of DC’s most distinguished addresses in now selling.
The historic Wardman Tower—built in 1928 by prolific developer Harry Wardman—was home to some of the city’s most famous figures during the 20th century, including three presidents. Today, it has been reimagined into 32 of the most luxurious condos in the city. The last remaining home, Residence 7D, is a full wing that has exposure on three sides and spreads out over nearly 4,700 square feet.
This is the last opportunity to buy a Wardman Tower home under the original buyer terms, in addition to a two-year interior builder warranty, and Residence 7D is now selling for $3.5 million. For more information, visit WardmanTower7D.com or contact Urban Pace Director of Sales Jennifer Felix at 202-853-1784 or jfelix@urbanpace.com.
The expansive two-bedroom home is located on the seventh floor and boasts panoramic views of the city, as well as three full baths, a powder room, study, dining room, eat-in-kitchen and den (which could be turned into a third bedroom). The interiors at Wardman Tower were completely remodeled and redesigned by New York architecture firm Deborah Berke Partners, known for creating distinctive spaces with lasting character. Unit 7D combines the traditional aspects of the building’s exterior with Parisian design elements and contemporary functionality.
Like all of the residences at Wardman Tower, 7D opens to a grand entrance gallery. Inside, finishes include wide-plank hardwood flooring, pocket doors, custom crown molding and solid-wood doors, custom Henrybuilt cabinetry, Danby marble countertops in master bathrooms and PentalQuartz kitchen countertops. The primary suite also features double bathrooms, dressing areas and walk-in closets, and the living room leads to a small balcony.
Wardman Tower offers residents a full suite of high-end amenities. In addition to a doorman and a 24-hour front desk with white glove service, the building has a well-appointed fitness room and two clubrooms. All of the residences come with two parking spaces, and there are over three acres of landscaped grounds by Michael Vergason Landscape Architects.
Wardman Tower is located at 2660 Connecticut Avenue NW, close to the Kennedy Center and Rock Creek Parkway. Residents can also take a quick car or Metro ride to boutiques and restaurants in Chevy Chase, Georgetown and Dupont Circle.
Wardman Tower’s 7D will be hosting an open house on Sunday, October 15th from 1pm to 3pm and is open by appointment. For more information, visit WardmanTower7D.com or contact Urban Pace Director of Sales Jennifer Felix at 202-853-1784 or jfelix@urbanpace.com.
