The Adamo: Sales Launch for 34 Condos in the Heart of Adams Morgan
If you’ve visited Adams Morgan recently, you've likely noticed that the corner of Adams Mill Road and Calvert Street (map) is now a construction site. What’s to come is a high-end boutique condominium development from Perseus Realty and architectural firm PGN called The Adamo that is slated for completion in May of next year.
Real estate sales and marketing firm Urban Pace launched sales for The Adamo last month, and 30 percent of the condominium’s 34 one- and two-bedroom units have already sold. For more information, or to keep abreast of the building’s milestones and upcoming events, fill out the VIP List form (under heading CONTACT) on The Adamo homepage here.
Among The Adamo’s most distinctive features are floor-to-ceiling windows and sleek, modern interiors, designed by Akseizer Design Group. Unique sliding-glass barn door walls, quartz countertops, wood-style plank flooring and Kitchen Aid and Bosch appliances all come standard. Some of the condos have moveable kitchen islands, and buyers have the option to outfit their unit with audio/visual prewiring for surround sound.
The rooftop at The Adamo features a large deck, with seating, grilling and a fire pit, and it is open to all residents. There are four private rooftop spaces for individual residents, and two are still available for sale. The Adamo’s ground floor includes a modern lobby, with vibrantly colored glasswork by artist Mindy Weisel, as well as 7,800 square feet of retail space. The specific businesses coming to the building have yet to be announced, but one of the four spaces is slated for a restaurant.
The Adamo’s upper Adams Morgan location is just a few blocks from the Woodley Park/Adams Morgan Metro Station on the Red Line. It is located within a block of the Circulator and Metro Bus Stations, as well as the Walter Pierce Park. Within four blocks of the development residents will find both Safeway and Harris Teeter grocery stores, and dozens of cafes, restaurants and bars, including Mintwood Place, Tryst, Jack Rose, Bourbon, Cashion’s Eat Place and Perry’s.
Pricing for one-bedroom condos at The Adamo start in the low $400s and two-bedrooms start in the mid $600s. Garage parking and additional storage are also available.
Prospective buyers interested in viewing floor plans and possible finishes at The Adamo should make an appointment to visit the sales office at 1919 14th Street NW. Visit the website for more information at Adamodc.com.
