Taylor Gourmet Secures Another Space on the 14th Street Corridor

Mid City Deli
Taylor Gourmet continues to expand their presence in DC.
The team behind the popular sandwich destination have signed on to take over the vacant space at 1418 14th Street NW (map), once occupied by Mid City Deli, reported Washington City Paper on Monday morning.
Since they already have a sandwich shop on the corridor, the company may expand their repertoire with the new location.
It seems like it will soon be hard to walk around a neighborhood and not see a Taylor establishment. As we reported in October, founders Casey Patten and David Mazza have rented a space on Rhode Island Avenue NE to use as a bakery, though residents hope for an eat-in option as well. Taylor Charles Steak and Ice, a cheesesteak and water ice place, will open up on H Street this month, and a slew of their original concept delis will be springing up throughout the area.
