Rendering of courtyard at Naylor Court Stables
Back in July, UrbanTurf reported that plans were in the early stages for a carriage home project called Naylor Court Stables in Shaw. We recently learned that the three carriage homes are moving forward and could deliver by late next year.
Naylor Court Stables
The homes, from Opal, LLC are designed by Seattle-based architect Gregory Sparhawk and will be located at 1321 Naylor Court NW. The 2,550 square-foot, three-bedroom properties will look the current stables on the court, but will have modern touches like media rooms in the basement and lofts with roof terraces. Each home will also come with two parking spaces. See a photo of the site where the homes will be located below.

The project has received ANC and historic approval, and is scheduled to appear before the Board of Zoning Adjustment in March. If that goes well, construction could start as early as next summer with delivery in late 2012.
