Earlier today, we were given a brief tour of 1617 Swann (we wrote about the development earlier this week). While there is still a fair amount of work to be done, the seven-unit development is on schedule to deliver at the end of May, and from what we heard and saw (check out the views from the roof below), the units are coming together nicely.
Here is some of what we learned:
- All units will come with iPod docking stations and surround speaker systems, and the condos will be set up so that all TV and stereo cables and equipment will be out of sight.
- Both penthouse units will have roof deck areas. Check out the views:

- The ceilings in the units range in height from 12 to 16 feet.
- Most units have oversized kitchen islands that can serve in place of a dining room table.
- The largest unit in the building is a duplex on the first floor that comes in at over 1,800 square feet.
In about a month we are going to go back and take some interior photos of the development in order to give you a better idea of what the units look like. In the meantime, if you want more information click here.
