Dwight Howard's tenure with the Washington Wizards only lasted about a year, but while the seven-foot tall center was in DC, he picked up one of UrbanTurf's favorite pieces of residential real estate.
Shortly after signing a contract with the Wizards in 2018, Howard purchased the 10,000 square-foot owner's loft at the Pierce School on Maryland Avenue NE. Now that the eight-time all star is playing for the Los Angeles Lakers, UrbanTurf has learned that he is listing the unit for sale.

Unit H at the top of the former school consists of a 5,600 square-foot main loft level and another 4,000 square foot floor above that. The living areas, bedrooms, restaurant-sized kitchen and office are all enormous former classrooms.
On the second level, there are four guest bedrooms and bathrooms, as well as a 14-person movie theater (the seats came from the first class section of an old airplane) and an 800 square-foot roof deck.
Howard made a few changes to the unit, based on his occupation among other things. He converted one of the rooms on the top level into an area for after-game massages, and he replaced the seats in the theater with some that are more fitting for his long frame.
