Mortgage Rates Barely Move

Long-term mortgage rates barely moved this week.
On Thursday, Freddie Mac reported 6.67% as the average on a 30-year mortgage, up two basis points from last week. While rates haven't moved much recently, they have been below 7% for a couple months now.

"The 30-year fixed-rate mortgage has stayed under 7% for nine consecutive weeks, which is helpful for potential buyers and sellers alike,” said Sam Khater, Freddie Mac’s Chief Economist.
